We continue serialization of Empowered vol. 12, which proved to be the final volume of the series in this specific graphic-novel format, though I was unaware of that unfortunate reality when I started work on the book.

I'm hoping to address the matter in more detail as serialization unfolds, but vol. 12 ran afoul of many, many challenges and, ah, unforeseen difficulties. I will say that "this Calloused Damsel" is the lone surviving element of vol.12's original vision, which was quite different from the version that eventually saw print.
